Donate recovery space
Slope Street Cats is in need of space to use for pre- and post-surgery recovery during our spay/neuter feral cat projects.

The area should be securely enclosed and temperature-controlled, such as a basement, garage, or spare room. Our projects last approximately two weeks, with two brief caretaking shifts each day (morning and evening).

We can provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for in-kind donation of the "rental" fee (usually about $150-$200).

Recovery time can be a bit on the odiferous side, but we clean the cages twice a day and always do our best to keep the space as tidy as possible.

Through this wonderful, hard-to-find donation, you would be helping prevent countless litters of cats from being born out on the streets! You can donate the space as a one-time event or on an ongoing basis.

Volunteer
The first—and most importan— step toward volunteering with Slope Street Cats is to take the Neighborhood Cats trap-neuter-return workshop, which provides you with a basic understanding of TNR necessary for talking about it to others or working hands-on with feral cats in traps. We have some volunteers who put in many hours every week, and others who help out occasionally with specific projects.
